Tuesday the 10th May saw Bell Equine Veterinary Clinic
host a CPD evening devoted to the subject of the Equine
Back.
Guest speakers included Equine Physiotherapist Sally Coulthard,
who discussed the physiotherapist’s approach to the
equine back. Dr Sue Dyson, who looked at the examination
and investigation of the axial skeleton. Dr Liz Barr, who
discussed veterinary treatment options for the equine back
and SRT Trust Director, Anne Bondi, who explained how best
to determine if a saddle is right for a horse.
Attendees were provided with a series of lively and thought
provoking perspectives, and the evening highlighted the
benefits and opportunities of a collaborative approach to
tackling the topic.
